We also brought in a couple people to help in the vice president's area and they end up taking our potential sponsor and send it to the bigger Horse Club. So we lost over $3,000 that we desperately needed to run for a full year. Every time we do it event it normally cost us three to four hundred dollars. We've always paid for the food and anything else needed for that event. Also, we've always paid for the parades and our merchandise we buy. We have people sign up for memberships that donate $35 for the year. Total donations on that came to less than $400. With the rebuild of our website and a complete database network that put us behind. Also as you know we ordered T-shirts that we spent over $450 for once we got them they were not done right, they didn't do the backs they only did a label on the front.
Normally we have a yearly sponsor that helps us cover our main expenses which run $2,000 a year. The rest of the events normally comes out of the pocket of a select two or three people in the group to do events. As a small group that believes in having fun and doing lots of trail rides and events our way of thinking makes the big groups worry about groups like ours. Big groups only care about money, they get to corporate and they forget to have fun. We already spent a lot of money four designs on buckles, belts, jackets, shirts and more. We have been doing some local events in Fairfield County, Licking County, Perry County.
Without proper funding, no group can survive unless the owners of the group are constantly syncing their own money into events. We were hoping 2018 would have been a great year and it started out a great year. We invited the wrong people into helping in a vice president positions and president of certain counties. We may be knocked down, but we're not out for the count. Working with the new sponsor to come on board that will be donating $10,000 a year to us. In 2019 we will be doing the first OTRA roundup. We have sponsors coming into this event. This will be a cash award event. Once we lock this deal down we will post more about it.
Next year we will be revamping how our organization works and who controls what so we never have these issues again. We're also working on setting up OTRA campsites throughout Ohio. More info on that coming soon.

Were still lacking $800 for this year's paperwork. Once done next year will be great and no other organization will be able to stop us. Our 2019 memberships will include the $1,000,000 insurance coverage. Everyone who donated this year will be on our VIP list, plus free shirt when they are done. Show more
